
How to Be Many Over and Over Again
Canapé, a new artistic community for young creators and cultural workers, is opening the doors to their new space at Rue des artistes 1—a to be a big resource in the Brussels cultural scene with atelier-, hang out-, tryout-, meeting- & event-space.
On the occasion of their public opening, Canapé has invited LuCi to co-curate an exhibition during their opening weekend. The exhibition A Garden of Dust includes the following works:
Quinten Vermeulen – Dia Projectie
Remco Ardui – mos
Yüksel Çilingir – Sultan’s Crown
Berit De Sutter – Symbiose
Melek Biberoglu – A memory of a memory
Zindzi Tillot – I had a dream about Paris but I can’t remember what it was about
Anne-Laure Maegherman – It’s not about her
Janne Elens – planten met stekels of doorns
Alongside the exhibition, there will be a 3-day programme of performances and workshops.
LuCi is a collective of young creators and curators whose focus is bringing works of students and recent graduates from LUCA School of Arts into the cultural programming of Brussels. Their nomadic project How to Be Many Over and Over Again in collaboration with Auguste Orts has been to de Markten and Cinema RITCS.
How to Be Many Over and Over Again springs from the public programme of Herman Asselberghs’ exhibition Time Wasted which ran at argos centre for audiovisual arts.
