first films ♡ at first sight

“A movie night !”
Decoratelier built a cinema & Fairuz Ghammam made a program.
At the invitation of Decoratelier, Fairuz put together a program with ‘first films’. More specifically films made by students in their first year. As a teacher, she often sees fresh, unformatted gems that can easily be shared with an extracurricular audience. In addition to 6 student films, Bamssi, the debut film of her cousin Mourad Ben Amor is shown. In all films the camera is a tool for positioning oneself. The makers lead us indoors where we witness routines and rituals, but we also witness uncertain moments away from home.
