Cinematek Carte Blanche
Auguste Orts will curate the upcoming festive 10th edition of the Contour Biennale. As a prelude to the after Summer opening, Cinematek is offering Auguste Orts a Carte Blanche program to showcase some of the filmmakers programmed in C0N10UR: elephy, Mieriën Coppens & Elie Maisin, Annik Leroy, Rosine Mbakam and Subversive Film will attend. The program includes brand new films by elephy members and Coppens & Maisin, a conversation with Michel Khleifi, screenings of Chantal Akerman’s News From Home in both English and French versions, and a tribute to Safi Faye. On the first night, Auguste Orts samples its own catalogue. April 17-25 at Cinematek, Brussels.
